At the annual scholarship distribution held on 26 Dec 2014, underprivileged girl children numbering 75 were given cash scholarships to support their school education and to ensure that they go up to finishing class 12. These children have scored 70-95 % in their annual examinations. More villages were covered this year.

The villages covered: Othiyur village, Paniyur, Kadapakkam, Alambarikuppam, Doomikuppam, Vilampur, Paniyur Mamaram, Paniyur Kaikadai, Nainarkuppam, Mudaliar kuppam, Ellai ammal koil, slum in Velacheri area.
